What is a personal trainer, and what do they do?
I can only speak for myself as a Personal Trainer I am a certified fitness professional who designs the most realistic personalized workout programs based on your individual needs, goals, and fitness levels. I provide high quality guidance, support, motivation, and accountability to help you reach your objectives..
How many sessions do I need to see results?
Results may vary based on the individual. Believing in yourself, pushing yourself harder than last time, good nutritional foods, consistency and getting good sleep will be a huge factor in seeing results. I, the trainer will be your guide, your motivator, and even your agony aunt (haha) but at the end of the day you have to push. However, you will start seeing changes within 8 weeks of regular sessions, alongside proper nutrition and lifestyle adjustments..

Should I count calories?
Depending on your goals. Knowing your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is beneficial because it indicates how many calories your body needs at rest to maintain basic functions. How do I track my progress?
If looking in the mirror while looking for visual progress on a day-to-day or even week-to-week basis it will be difficult to see. I, the trainer will provide regular assessments, monitor your workouts, and help set measurable goals if necessary. Plus to help the process you can keep a fitness journal and take full body (physique) photos in the mirror every 4-6 weeks and compare.
